Gov. Vetoes ANOTHER flawed budget

Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday 9-4-09 approved most of a budget-balancing plan but vetoed key part including additional massive cuts to (Department of Economic Security (DES).

As service providers and advocates to people with disabilities, we stand behind this decision. The action taken by the governor are not only appropriate, but courageous.

The Governor stated, "I will not give up on the future of our state,".

We encourage everyone to continue with all efforts & thank you for stand up for this states most vulnerable people. Don't let inappropriate cuts happen!

Contact Gov. Jan Brewer and let her know that we support her decision. Ask her to “Please veto these budget bills which harm children, families and vulnerable adults."
