William Wheelock III Memorial Fund
He was the kind of person who made life long friends. Once you were his friend you were always his friend and he was always happy to see you. This could be seen in mostly in his eyes and his smile when he saw someone he liked. He worked for many years passing out flyers with his group and did a great job. Walking wasn’t always easy for him but he always put in the effort to get the job done. He enjoyed having a job and responsibility; it seemed
to make him proud of himself to have accomplished the day’s work, as it should have. In William’s later years he went to work at the Stepping Forward Vocational center or SFV. Here William spent his work days,
helping refurbish furniture, or shredding documents or spending time with people he enjoyed being around. All in all he spent his life doing what he liked to do.
In the end we hope we enriched Williams life as much as he did ours. He was our friend and we hope we were his. It’s sad to say goodbye to the people we care about but if their memory makes us happy in our hears than we’re richer for the experience.
Goodbye William.
