Another 15% DES Budget Cut?
At the request of Arizona's Governor Jan Brewer, on October 19th, 2009, Neil Young, AZ DES Director, submitted a draft proposal of the 2010 budget to Eileen Klein, Director at the Governor's Office of Strategic planning and Budgeting. This draft includes an additional 15% budget cut for DES Service agencies including those that that serve the most vulnerable populations, disabled adults, children and the elderly.
