Employment Programs

The Tungland ERP provides a continuum of training and vocational opportunities in safe, supportive and nurturing environments. Programs are 100% community based and are designed to help individuals find and keep suitable employment.

Our vocational program stresses training in proper work habits and attitudes, functional academics, as well as assimilation of on the job skills. Currently, individuals experience "hands on" job training on programs including, but not limited to landscaping, promotional distribution, house painting and home maintenance and repair. We also operate The Special Touch Car Wash, a hand car wash and TTC Automotive, an automotive repair shop.

Individuals receive the support to learn and to succeed. Individuals are taught to focus on independence and to be responsible for their actions. Wages earned reinforce theories of good work habits. Our trainees are assessed on an individual basis and are encouraged to plan and strive toward their vocational goals, in ways that work best for them.
