The Tungland Corporation Philosophy & Vision
Founded in 1983, The Tungland Corporation is dedicated to building,
strengthening and improving lifestyles for people of all abilities.
Utilizing our comprehensive programming options such as community
residential settings, vocational, day treatment, habitation at home
and in home support services, innovative designs for daily living
can become a reality for all program participants.
At Tungland we believe that every person is capable of growth
regardless of individual challenges.
We currently provide services to people of all ages challenged with
developmental, physical and mental illness disabilities. We also
assist people who are rebuilding their lives following traumatic
brain injuries.
At Tungland it is our goal to foster multi-faceted community
interactions to help people overcome the commonly experienced
barriers of isolation and exclusion that hinder true community
membership.
We are committed in assisting people to discover their gifts,
uncover hidden potentials, and to establish valued roles within our
community.
It is our vision and philosophy to strive to develop roles of
community citizenship for the people we serve.
At Tungland we are dedicated to facilitating interpersonal
relationships, social skills, behavior building, job and daily
living skills to empower people to experience the joy and purpose of
living life to its fullest potential.
