After School Program (DTT)
Day Programming or Day Treatment and Training (DTT) for children After School and during the Summer, provides week day options for school-aged children with developmental disabilities (ages 3-22).The program is designed to develop and enhance recreational, interpersonal, and life skills, in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
"hands-on" learning through recreation, community and education based activities such as field trips to museums, libraries, movie theatres, and parks.
Our goal is to foster self-esteem, increase social and community safety skills, initiate development of new daily living skills and decrease or eliminate those behaviors that are most challenging and/or disruptive to a positive relationships.
Children programs are offered year round, 4 hours a day, Monday – Friday, except for the New Years, Memorial, Fourth of July, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Extended program hours may be available upon request.
We currently provide DTT services at four of our activity centers. These centers are in the following parts of the State of Arizona:
- Peoria
- Phoenix
- Mesa
