Summer Program (SUM)

Summer Programming provides weekday options for school-aged children with developmental disabilities (ages 3-21).

The program is designed to develop and enhance recreational, interpersonal relationships, and life skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Our goal is to foster self-esteem, increase social and community safety skills, initiate development of new daily living skills and decrease or eliminate those behaviors that are most challenging and/or disruptive to positive relationships. 
Children programs are offered year round, 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday excluding major holidays.  Extended hours may be available upon request.

Our curriculum for this program includes (but is not limited to):

• Art & Crafts
• Drama
• Home Economics
• Life Skills
• Music
• Physical Education
• Social Skill Development
• Community integration & Safety

We currently provide Summer Services at four of our activity centers.  These centers are in the following parts of the State of Arizona:

• Peoria
• Phoenix
• Phoenix-Ahwatukee
• Mesa
